i met sarah (prounounced sah-rah :) through the wonderful world of blogging. a click here and a click there and i eventually landed on her sites. she has incredible taste for design and a really refined eye for all things amazing. sarah is a danish-american artist (broad term!) who loves to design, sew, crochet, make party crafts, and take photos! she has worked in publishing as a designer for nearly ten years and has designed for sweet mags such as food network magazine, people, rolling stone, do it yourself...the list goes on! i'm not too sure where to begin because this girl does it all! her photography skills are stellar too! take a look at a few of her projects:

today i am featuring the lovely jen renninger of still room studio/please be still! i remember being fascinated with jen's "we are all connected" piece from her words to live by series showcased in the jen11 exhibition. it is still my favorite print to this day because of what the words represent. nothing excites me more than when i find connections between people, places, and/or things. i think of community, and diversity, and differences, and how connections bring us closer to one another. so jen's work hit a spot in my heart! her talent and beauty exudes from what she creates. just from communicating through emails recently i have gathered that she is a warm, kind, and gifted person. i love when a person's personality shines through their creations.
