Maia McDonald

I've known Maia through blogging for some time now and was excited to finally meet and photograph her in San Francisco last month. We had a fun time finding color and texture near The Good Hotel while we made our way to Sightglass Coffee. We chatted over chilled gravenstein apple juice and a scone and I would snap pictures randomly through our conversation. I love how these photos turned out!

Maia is a graphic designer and Pinterest extraordinaire. She's the bee's nees with over one million followers on Pinterest! Wow, right? Check out her work here and her boards here. She also has an inspiring blog.

Pinterest Inspiration

Pinterest never fails to keep me going. I haven't had the best of luck keeping up with blog reading lately but whenever I need a quick dose of inspiration, I know where to go. Hello! My name is Jennifer and I'm the author of A Merry Mishap. If any of you have visited my blog, you may already know that I'm a S.A.H.M. with an 18 month old boy and a 20 something year old husband who live in Boise, ID. With two busy boys in the house it's sometimes hard to sit in front of the computer for any length of time. This, my friends, is where Pinterest comes in. No, I don't work for them, and no, I'm not being endorsed to say this. It's just that dragging images to the desktop and then trying to remember where they came from can be too much work, embarrassing to say but it's true. I find myself "pinning" random images off and on during the day, sort of like dog-earring pages of a magazine you want to go back to. I must say, I've got a little collection going & on more than one occasion have referred to it for outfit ideas and recipes. Here are some of my most recent dog-ears. Hope you enjoy!
