I've known Maia through blogging for some time now and was excited to finally meet and photograph her in San Francisco last month. We had a fun time finding color and texture near The Good Hotel while we made our way to Sightglass Coffee. We chatted over chilled gravenstein apple juice and a scone and I would snap pictures randomly through our conversation. I love how these photos turned out!

Maia is a graphic designer and Pinterest extraordinaire. She's the bee's nees with over one million followers on Pinterest! Wow, right? Check out her work here and her boards here. She also has an inspiring blog

Does anybody else feel that time has been flying by like nobody's business? I can barely keep up! I've been on the road a lot lately, but I can't complain--it's been for work that I've been thoroughly enjoying. I assisted in a lovely wedding in Carmel Valley this past weekend, then continued north to San Francisco to shoot the sweetest blogger/pinner, Maia.

I was also lucky to meet and dine with Amy from Stitch and Hammer at Flour + Water--we indulged in the most delicious meal of homemade pastas and decadent desserts. Have you been? What a treat! Blogger meet-ups are quickly becoming one of my favorite things...

Airbnb + Sunny Loft Living

Airbnb has been a gem for our travels lately. The only "downfall" to the site is that it's addicting (watch out!). We booked this sunny loft nestled in the Mission District--where we typically spend most of our time in San Francisco. It was perfection for our much needed getaway. The host was super cool and had the best recommendations for us around the city. Have any of you booked travels using Airbnb? I highly recommend it!

Oh, and thank you for leaving such awesome recommendations of places to visit in SF--I'm taking notes!
