a quick jaunt to the city to catch budrus + a Q & A sesh with the director, julia bacha. such a moving documentary. i recommend it to everyone. it really made me think outside of myself and evaluate my experience growing up in america. i see the fair trade olive oil from palestine that we sell in the store i work at in a completely new light. the olive oil is so much more than just olive oil...it has such a beautiful and powerful story--so happy to be reminded of this. what richness! please do check the trailer and support this cause!

*breakfast served all day at square one. good eats! best french toast i've had in a while.
