tuesday feature :: VisuaLingual
June 29, 2010
VisuaLingual* is an awesome graphic design and screenprinting studio based in the Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Maya and Michael, the powerhouse team of VisuaLingual, collaborate on projects for cultural organizations, non-profit clients, and now increasingly on their own work that celebrates the urban environment. They search for "beauty hidden in plain sight - cobblestone in old alleys, faded commercial signs on the sides of old buildings, architectural ornament hidden beneath overgrown ivy."
You may know them best for their seed bombs that have spread like wildfire around the net!
They've gotten kudos in GOOD, Vogue, Haper's Bazaar, Apartment Therapy, Re-Nest, House Beautiful, Lonny, plus tons of blogs. The seed bombs are available for purchase at many independent retailers around the U.S. but are best known for selling on Etsy and Anthropologie!
