Josh and I celebrated our anniversary by taking a trip up the coast this week. Have any of you been to Big Sur in California? My goodness, it is insanely gorgeous--I can't believe it was my first time! Anyways, it was a really laid back trip and I thought I would be able to post a few times during the week but ha--that didn't happen. I loved the time off (much needed!) but am also looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I'll share some images from our trip next week--see you Monday!

ReplyDeleteI've been dying to get there! Thanks so much for the reminder. We are hoping to get there this summer. I've been hearing so much about it and can't believe I've never been either. Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteWe drove up Scenic Route 1 this past summer, and that whole road was gorgeous. It was even better to camp there, too!

Happy anniversary! I'm glad you two had a lovely trip! I'd looooooove to go ANYWHERE in California, as you know! ;) Haha. One day... Keith FINALLY got his passport, so it's only a matter of time... right?! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteoh happy anniversary, j.! big sur...there are some insane natural hot springs at Esalen that stick right out over the ocean...and I hear there's a cool monastery in the mountains that you can drop by and stay at. I've never been there but it sounds sooo serene :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful anniversary! Never been to Big Sur but heard so many great things about it!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, I love Big Sur, I think it is the prettiest this time of year -- something about the crispness when it's cold. The views are always clearer in the winter. I know we can see the islands super clear during this time of year near us.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I've never gone to Big Sur but it's on my to do list for this year. My mom recently moved to SF so I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to take the scenic route on the drive up. It might take a few hours more but the stops are worth it!
