tuesday feature :: postcarden + brooklyn5and10

posted on: June 01, 2010

i found out about the postcarden* from the boys over at le grand cru! this little gem warms my heart! half postcard, half garden, 100% amazing! designed and produced by the london based company a studio for design, the postcarden is a beautiful growing green gift and "greeting card". it's super easy to grow and perfect for dressing up any desktop or windowsill! it will brighten your space for two to three weeks. there are three sweet designs to choose from--the allotment, botanical garden, and city--each featuring commissioned illustrations by young and talented artists! best yet (!), the cress you grow in your postcarden is EDIBLE! yowza!

if you're in the u.s., the postcarden is available at the one and only (and fave of mine!!!) brooklyn5and10--an amazing online shop based out of brooklyn, NY, offering some of the best knick knacks and gifts for any creative!
