They had me at "eat like you give a damn". Local, organic, and sustainable eats--right up my alley. Portage Bay Cafe had an incredible brunch selection and the "toppings bar" for their pancakes and french toast was unlike any I had seen before! I ordered the Lemon Curd French Toast and Josh ordered the Greek Omelette. Check out their menu and grab a napkin for your drool!

  4. jen - these seattle posts are killing me! when i came across your blog i didnt even realize it was yours because these shots dont look like vacation documentation - they look like you were hired to do their interior photography!

you two seriously hit all of my favorite spots in seattle - you must have had some good insider pointers :) its been a few months since ive been to portage bay and your photos are too painfully beautiful to keep me from their food any longer!

it was so lovely to meet you and josh, hope you enjoyed your trip and visit again soon!
