For the love of everything Woolly! I'm a big fan of Woolly Pockets over here and I'm kind of (OK, more than just kind of...) in love with their new additions--the freestanding islands. All Woolly Pockets are made in the USA out of 100% recycled materials and they're super breathable so plants thrive in them. What's not to love? The pictures above are of my husband planting two mini herb gardens in a couple of their smallest islands (the Tina), and a lettuce variety in a Lana. They have been growing so darn well!

Woolly giveaway on the blog!

Woolly Pocket has kindly donated a Peacock Blue Lana for a giveaway! To enter, "Like" Woolly Pocket on Facebook or follow them on Twitter, then comment on this post with which Woolly is your favorite. Giveaway ends one week from today on October 6. Good luck!

*Thanks for entering! The winner of the Lana is Ro.

  9. The peacock blue lana is vibrant - perfect for my table by the window on an overcast northwest winter morning. My favorite wooly pocket is one of the hanging pockets that my daughter Martie Kilmer has planted and mounted adjacent to their outdoor hot tub.

  16. Wooly 10, black, reminds me of what I'm trying to incorporate on my Chicago rooftop- native prairie plants. I'm picturing a Wooly wall up there too.
