Lately, I've been trying to spend more time outdoors during the day to ease up my time in front of the computer. The trails, hills, and peaks surrounding our home in San Luis Obispo are so lush and inviting right now. What is it like where you are?

It's like you read my mind. I'm sitting at my computer right now, staring out the window. The sun just came out after a cloudy afternoon - I'm going to head outside ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been rainy up here in Oakland, but I haven't let that stop me. The dog and I go running in the rain, very refreshing. I want to come visit you in San Luis Obispo this summer! I wish I could live somewhere more remote.
ReplyDeletep.s. I love your images!
ReplyDeleteWow that first shot is gorgeous! Around our neck of the woods it's been pretty mild, with the occasional salty ocean breeze :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Sometimes I feel like I spend too much time cooped up indoors on my laptop. It's so addicting though! It's been really sunny here lately, so I've enjoyed going for walks around the neighbourhood and spending time with friends & family outside and going places. x

gorgeous images! Today is sticky in Denton. The sun brings lots of warmth though and makes me spend lots of time in the Eno hammock. I also want to spend more time outdoors and exploring.
ReplyDeletesunny and just starting to warm up a bit, 60 degrees. everything is blooming and making the air smell fresh.
ReplyDeleteWow, the colours!!! It's so beautiful! I can look at the photos all day. You are so lucky that you live so close to nature, it not surprising that you want to spend more time outdoors.
ReplyDeleteHere in Portland, it changes every day. Yesterday was gorgeous but today is seriously pouring down rain :( lovely pictures. My boyfriend used to be in school down in Southern California. It's so sunshiney and nice down there :)
ReplyDeleteyour shots capture the mountains & lighting perfectly. it reminds of of where i'm from, in ventura county. where i'm at now is in utah for school. theres a lot of mountains, and it's starting to get warmer so they're finally turning green & the snow is melting
ReplyDeleteI live 4 blocks from Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that I live so close to such a magical place. One of my favorite places to hike around and explore, EVER.
ReplyDeleteSadly we have had nothing but rain here in Portland lately. You know what they say though, April Showers bring May flowers and since I'm getting married at the end of May, I'm willing to deal with the rain now!
ReplyDeletethose rolling hills are picture perfect! i'm also cursed with having to work in front of a computer, but i do really try do get out as often as possible. i'm not a very athletic persons, but i can walk for miles and never get tired. i'm taking advantage of this beautiful weather we're having right now and i'm mostly spending time at the beach and the parks. it feels good!
ReplyDeleteThese shots are truly stunning, Jennifer. Thanks for the reminder to get outside more!! :)
ReplyDeleteactually rainy and cloudy again ;( but can't complain too much, as we had three straight days of sun and warmer weather !! amazing light shots ;)
ReplyDeleteTHESE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING. Wow. Such an inspiration. I have also been trying to get out, proving more difficult than I thought :) haha
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! xxx
I feel the same way! I've been walking the long way home. Temps in Boston are still in the 50's - love 60's but when the sun is out, it feels so nice! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Jennifer! Ahh, I'm missing CA so :)
ReplyDeleteToday in London it's been going between stupidly bright sunshine to grey skies and pouring with rain. In fact I just saw some lightning outside and heard some thunder. The joys of the crazy British weather! Aside from the weather it looks amazingly gorgeous where you live, I am insanely jealous! I would kill to visit California... hopefully one day. Oh and it goes without saying I am in love with your photos, as always, they are stunning.
ReplyDeleteoh rolling hills fading in the distance. always my favorite.
ReplyDeleteportland... rainrainrainrainrainrain rain.
Gorgeous, nothing like a good run in the hills of CA. Miss that view and the sun there.
ReplyDeleteYEs yes yes, keep going out & taking such pretty photos! Although it's making me super jealous. I just read someone's blog post about going on a little road trip for the day in California & ugh, the coast is GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS photos. It's cool, spring-like weather here. I'm gearing up for a rainy yet productive weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh that first image is frame worthy. I wish Oklahoma weren't so flat. This is so pretty!! Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteHey! Long time...thought I'd pop by and see what you've been up to the past decade ;) Living in New Delhi now for 2 months, after visiting London for 2 weeks. It was so hot the first week here 38 Celsius most days. So stoked that a storm brought some cooler weather :) Your stuff's always amazing btw!
ReplyDeleteoh we have been having such a lousy weather... with two things that i hate together, rain and wind! give me thunderstorm and rain, or just rain even, but rain and wind? and then some sun for about half an hour, with wind and rain after that? oh tired of this weather! i want some spring-ish days desperately! gorgeous pictures, btw ;)
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful place and beautiful weather! in our country still raining... the second and third photos are the best!
