I've been trail running lately and it has become a good reminder of how much inspiration comes from being outdoors. The textures, colors, and growth stop me in my tracks. Josh laughs at how often I pause to take pictures with my iPhone, but I just can't help myself! San Luis Obispo has my heart right now...

last weekend, a dose of the city. this weekend, a dose of nature. my style to a tee! san luis obispo is looking pretty gorgeous right now. i witnessed the most gentle yet glorious sunset yesterday with some loved ones.

happy valentine's day by the way! are you a lover or a hater of the holiday...or an in-between-er? i think i am the latter. when it comes down to it, i'm a fan of love--and there won't be a time where you'll find me turning down a date night with the husband. so off we go! hope you enjoyed your day today, whether big or small plans! i heart you all! -j.

there is a very good chance you'll be hearing (reading) me talk (type) about a sweet little vintage shop in san luis obispo called ruby rose from time to time! i've jumped on the fabulous ruby rose bandwagon as their marketing manager! i took these photos this past week for a series called "the weekly six"--showcasing "this just in!" items that have made their way into the shop! a ruby rose blog is in the works...but for now, check us out on facebook and follow us on twitter! and if you're in town, please do stop by and say hi!! we're at 1335 walker street (slo, 93401) and open on thursdays from 10-5, and saturdays from 10-2ish (or by appointment)! you will be amazed at what you see!!! oh, and you can click on the images above for more info on the items! i'll post some pictures of the shop in the near future to show you around!
