Hwasoon Kim of Morning Calm creates her skincare products in small batches using high quality ingredients -- most of the Korean herbs and organic tea leaves she uses come from local co-ops in Daegu, South Korea. Designed with sensitive skin in mind, all soaps, facial washes, and lip balms are free from synthetic fragrance oils and artificial colorants such as titanium dioxide, mica, conditioners, and surfactants. Morning calm soaps were my gift of choice to give this past Christmas. I love the subtle and sweet natural fragrances as well as the simple and attractive packaging. My favorite soap? Bamboo Charcoal!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite item is definitely the Jacho Lip Balm. I received it as part of a Secret Santa this past Christmas and my lips fell in love at first swipe. I used it religiously day and night until there was practically no product left. Needless to say, the Jacho has become an essential part of my lip care. I look forward to purchasing more and also trying out Morning Calm's soaps!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite although isn't listed is the Sanghwang Mushroom & Red Ginseng Soap soap she sold back. The smell was so lovely and I loved how there were bits of something, not quite sure for exfoliation. It'd be awesome if she made those again!

I am especially eager to try out the lip balms and mushroom soap. Hwasoon is so nice to work with and I appreciate the personalization to my orders. Each new bar is like a mini-Christmas morning.

Sooo hard to pick just one (or even two). I have to say that I love my Bamboo Charcoal. The Pearl sounds intriguing and even luxurious. I really think that the Gamcho Washable Cleansing Oil would be a nice way to wash away the day.
